- Baked Chicory with Nutmeg
- (Indivia Belga al Forno Alla Noce Moscata)

- Ingredients:
-
1 and 3/4 lbs (800 grams) chicory, trimmed
- 3 oz (80 grams) breadcrumbs
- Butter, for greasing
Generous pinch of freshly grated nutmeg
Salt
Directions:
Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F) Gas Mark 4.
Grease an ovenproof dish with butter.
Place the chicory in a steamer and steam for about 10-12 minutes.
Remove from the heat, cut each head in half and place in the prepared dish.
Season with salt and sprinkle with the breadcrumbs and nutmeg.
Bake for about 15 minutes until golden brown. Serves 4.
